everything seemed to be going well for Oklahoma State.The seventh-seeded Cowgirls lead Texas 5-0 in the elimination game at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex on Petty's home run

and were 12 outs away from their first-ever Women's College World Series trip.

Then it all came crumbling down on OSU as fast as Petty's third home run of the playoffs departed the park.
